#BeActive – Every Move Counts!

From 23 to 30 September 2026, Europe gets moving as part of the European Week of Sport, an initiative of the European Union aimed at encouraging citizens to be more active and highlighting the benefits of an active lifestyle.
The European Week of Sport is open to everyone, regardless of age, fitness level or background, and promotes participation in sport and physical activity as an important part of a healthy and active everyday life.
Every year, the European Week of Sport mobilises millions of citizens across Europe. In 2025, for example, more than 80,000 activities took place, involving over 15 million citizens.
This year, institutions, organisations, sports clubs, schools, local authorities and other partner organisations are once again invited to take part and contribute to promoting physical activity.
