The European Documentation Centre (EDC) ‘Giorgos Papadimitriou’ has been operating since November 2006 at the University of the Aegean, in the University’s Environment Building, and is part of the Department of Sociology.
The European Documentation Centre aims to inform the academic community about European issues, so that the policies of the European Union become known to students and the local community. In addition, it is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and promoting information on the European Union, its legislation, and its policies.
The European Documentation Centre holds comprehensive collections of European Union materials, as well as a wide range of documents related to the EU.
