COVID-19 certificate

Parliament, Council and Commission negotiators will meet again to try to conclude an agreement on the proposal for an EU Covid-19 certificate. In order to facilitate traveling during the pandemic, and ahead of the summer period, the certificate would prove a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, has a negative test result or has recovered from the virus.

Protection of EU citizens’ data: assessment of US and UK rules

Data protection in the UK and US and the future of data transfers to these countries will be the focus of a plenary debate with Council and Commission starting at 9.00. MEPs will then vote on two resolutions, with the final results announced on Thursday (“Schrems II”) and Friday (UK adequacy decision).
